L-3 Communications Commercial Training Solutions for All Nippon Airways ANA L-3 Communications Commercial Training Solutions (L-3 CTS) business has been awarded a contract by Japanese airline All Nippon Airways (ANA) to build and deliver an Airbus A320 full flight simulator (FFS).
Based on L-3’s RealitySeven™ simulation solution, the device will be installed at ANA’s flight training facility in Tokyo, Japan, and ready to deliver training in September 2017. This will be the first RealitySeven A320 FFS to be installed at ANA’s flight training center and will join an existing RealitySeven B787 FFS at the airline’s Tokyo facility.
AQT Solutions is pleased to announce that L-3 Communications has successfully implemented ATMS (Advanced Training Management System) to manage the training for the Royal Australian Air Force. L-3’s ATMS implementation was preceded by one week of onsite training held at their facilities in Waco and Arlington, Texas. The implementation team participants included a variety of individuals and roles such as course Schedulers, Record Keepers, Administrators, Training Managers, and other management functions. Specifically, ATMS will be used by L-3 to build the RAAF military training programs’ curriculums, track and manage qualifications, and streamline their training processes for their aircrew to ensure increased safety and compliance. The Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) Completed ATMS Training – ATMS is expected to play a critical role in assuring compliance and training process improvements within the Royal New Zealand Air Force’s highly global training environment. AQT is confident that ATMS will be foundational in centralizing RNZAF’s training organization with its highly scalable Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) capabilities, and allowing for integrated training plans, course scheduling, performance evaluations, identifying training and qualification gaps, and needs assessments.
